Thanks for your suggestion. The keyboard works in start up same as the mouse then as soon as it reaches the log in screen it all stop working.

Sorta lucked out that I had kept a full install uninstalldd windows on my second HDD, so am booting off of that now and things work, but would love to be able to switch back to my SSD.

So first, thanks for hanging on and helping me troubleshoot this, really appreciate it. What is new or different since the last time everything worked properly ie, new hw, new sw, virus, error, etc? It’s ridiculous that they suggest uninstalling USB devices when something like this could happen. In the second case, this is not an answer.

Were the files created before or after you deleted acccidentally USB hub?
