Get the 9140z plan from the maker. I don’t understand why the XP drivers won’t work on this computer. I am pretty sure the card used to work on Win Vista.
The wireless card chipset is rtlb. Toshiba calls it TVAP and you find folk that are stumped by this everyday. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums–revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.

I have taken the laptop apart before and checked the wi-fi card.
